Self-regulatory / accreditation bodies and codes
Alder-Ash is not currently a member of any self-regulatory or accreditation body and does not currently subscribe to any external code of conduct or alternative dispute-resolution code.
Products
All products are described as accurately as possible. Colours and textures may vary slightly due to screen settings and photography. Alder-Ash reserves the right to discontinue or modify products at any time.
Our Bee Venom products are not suitable for individuals with known bee or bee-venom allergies. Patch testing is strongly recommended before first use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate advice.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices displayed at the time of your order will be honoured. Alder-Ash reserves the right to update prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and complete. Alder-Ash reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where there is a reasonable basis to do so, and you will be notified promptly if this occurs.
Payments are processed securely through Yoco. The payment methods currently available are displayed at checkout.
A written record of the transaction is sent to the email address supplied at checkout. Customers may contact support@alderash.co.za regarding access to records of their orders, subject to applicable retention and privacy requirements.
Shipping and Delivery
Alder-Ash currently ships within South Africa only. Delivery fees and timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy at alderash.co.za/pages/shipping-policy.
Returns, Refunds and Your Consumer Rights
Your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act and ECTA are fully preserved. Our Refund Policy, available at alderash.co.za/pages/refund-policy, sets out how we handle change-of-mind returns, damaged or incorrect orders, and defective or unsafe goods. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
Intellectual Property
All original content created by Alder-Ash, including its trading name, logo, and original written content, is the property of Shaun Janse van Vuuren trading as Alder-Ash and may not be reproduced without written permission. Trademarks, packaging, photography, and other materials belonging to manufacturers, suppliers, or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the CPA, ECTA or other applicable South African law. To the extent liability may lawfully be limited, Alder-Ash will only be liable to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy
Alder-Ash handles your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at alderash.co.za/pages/privacy-policy, and in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Changes to These Terms
Alder-Ash may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to an order is generally the version in effect when that order is placed, unless a change is required by law.
